Ok, we're married now :)

Well, it's on the books now. It's official. We're hitched.

Our ceremony went great, and we sincerely appreciate everyone who was able to make it. The weather was beautiful, and everything went smoothly.

The reception afterwards was fun. We fed each other cake and all of that. Then, later in the night, the dj was playing music and some of us were dancing by the pool. Some people had already left, and it was about 9:30 or so. Well, it started pouring rain and everyone scrambled for the house... except us. Leah grabbed me and said to jump in. So we jumped into the pool, wedding dress and all. Everyone clapped and laughed. The rain had perfect timing.

Something else cool that happened that week: While performing our marraige, my Grandfather said that we should always kiss each other goodnight, and never go to bed angry. Well, two days later, Leah was in a shop and found a sign that reads "Always Kiss Me Goodnight." She bought it, and it now hangs in our house. Here's a picture...

We designed this blog for our wedding, but we've decided to keep it going and just post things every once in a while about ourselves and our lives. So check back once in a while, and feel free to post your thoughts in the guestbook. I'd especially like to hear from those of you who were at the wedding.

Also, click on any of the pictures at the bottom of the page to get access to all of our posted pictures. And feel free to email me any pictures you have for us to post. Thanks!

What to wear......????

Many of you have asked what to wear to the wedding. The most important thing is to be comfortable: it will be about 85 degrees at the wedding. Of course, anything tropical will work (a nice floral sundress, khaki shorts and hawaiian shirt for men). Please do not wear jeans or jean shorts. Also, I wouldn't recommend wearing fancy shoes as it is on the beach. I will be barefoot! You can be, too!

My mother is wearing a tropical/hawaiian sundress and my grandmother is unable to make it. Don't feel the need to match or not clash with anyone. Be yourself and have

Wedding Registry/Updates

Eric and I have had a few suggestions as far as the website is concerned. The most common suggestion has been to add our wedding gift registry to our website. So, here it is.

Also, we are finalizing the invitations. We anticipate having them out by the end of March. So, be on the lookout! Again, we urge those of you who wish to attend, please obtain reservations quickly. This is a very popular location and Memorial Day weekend. We'd love to see everyone there!

We confirmed a beach house in sunny Seagrove, FL for our wedding. It is a 5 bedroom, 4 bath house located 100 yards from the beach and includes a pool. This house is about 20 minutes from Destin, FL and 5 minutes from Seaside, FL.

I don't have the exact street address yet but feel free to look the website at:

We have located beachfront condos in Seagrove that are willing to accommodate on a nightly basis. Please let me know if this is something you are interested in.
